...yesterday I went to the port of Emden to shoot some water and clouds photos...nothing special except it was the first sunny day after 3 weeks of constant rain and storm with temperatures around 50 F /10° Celsius...way to cold for July even for a 'Husky'
The forecast is back to the 90s...
...saw him in the York Wheel sitting all alone in one of the cabins...it was the expression in his face that attracted my attention...
btw. he was carrying a second camera!
The reflexions were caused by the cabins glazing...
...and him in the train Leeds-York...wonder what...
...took these at a Lotus sports car meeting in Emden yesterday...hope you like the details, colors and I wish you could hear the sound also!
Lotus meets Lightship
...these houses were built in 1920. Though they survived WW II. this kind of architecture became rare as many got destroyed by the time...
Look at the guy running...only saw him when I processed the photo...must be something wrong with my eyes!
I went to our historic steam engine (built 1943 / 2011.53 hp) we put up at the main station here in Emden...
I added a sepia tone to honor it's busy long years pulling heavy loads from north to south...
Hell inside! (the fire box)
Hope this is not offending someone or breaking a rule but the shots are taken with my Nikon D200
...managed to get this Sony DSC F707 + x1.7 Teleconverter both unused and spending their live in a box...the guy who sold it suffered cancer just after he bought it and this way it was...
It's not only sharpening which causes the glow but the selection tool also as I did not take enough care of the borders...though I especially like the old time movie feeling in the 2nd image
