    A know-it-all client

In hindsight, it would be best to "pre-screen" both the bride and groom but I know that's easier said than done. I've come to similar situations and was just as accommodating but was really clear on "my style" or approach. If you're shooting their wedding then I strongly encourage to talk this...

    Looking For A Photography Mentor/Confidant

So while reading Book Yourself Solid by M. Port, he brought up the idea of having an advisory group. I think it's a good idea regardless of a photographer's skill set. While a "group" consist of more than 2 people, I thought I'd shoot low and look for one good soul. So I tried reaching out...

    Dual camera systems

I shoot with a D700 with 9 lenses and a 1dmkIII with 12 Canon lens. I try not to overlap FLs and I use my D700 for more closer photos 14mm to 70mm and my Canon for 70mm and beyond. Like photography in general, know the basics of dslr operations and you should be good. It definitely is a great...

Help Me Choose 3 Lens for a trip out of the country.

17-50mm ~ To cover your wide end and landscapes. 50/1.4 ~ For me, this is a given. I like using 50's for street scenes. Maybe you will too. 100mm ~ I'd choose this over the 70-200 because it will definitely bring more attention to you.

It's not hot pixels, it's an entire line!

Don't discount refurbs. I've have purchased a lot of refurbished electronics and gear with no issues at all. The big thing is purchasing from authorized dealers. That saves out of pocket $$ for repairs.
