50/1.4 ~ For me, this is a given. I like using 50's for street scenes. Maybe you will too.
100mm ~ I'd choose this over the 70-200 because it will definitely bring more attention to you.

Don't discount refurbs. I've have purchased a lot of refurbished electronics and gear with no issues at all. The big thing is purchasing from authorized dealers. That saves out of pocket $$ for repairs.
