    This is in Elements, yes?

    Solid Noise Ninja alternative software?

The compatibility specifications only go to Elements 13. Would it be safe to say that this spec is only for use as plugins? You can utilize these applications as standalones, though, right?

    Solid Noise Ninja alternative software?

I thought so, as well, but Noise Ninja's site declared that it would not be a plugin in PSE beyond 10. A standalone IS available, and I had downloaded it, but running three different programs or more(I have PSE 14, Capture-NX2, Affinity Photo) especially photo by photo, is a nuisance, whereas...

    Solid Noise Ninja alternative software?

Other than Capture NX-2, I have been without a solid noise reduction software since upgrading my PSE to 14 from 8, losing my Noise Ninja plugin in the transistion. Have there been any good alternatives introduced into the market?

Interesting issue with a D2Xs and a new Tammy 150-600mm.

That would explain a few things. I'll be sending both of my longer lenses in to be repaired later this month.

Interesting issue with a D2Xs and a new Tammy 150-600mm.

This is not the 2nd generation of this lens.

    I just checked on B&H. It's an 'F' Mount.

Interesting issue with a D2Xs and a new Tammy 150-600mm.

I had been wondering if it was an incompatibility with the type of style. I'll check this out.

Interesting issue with a D2Xs and a new Tammy 150-600mm.

Hi all. The issue is this: When using the aforementioned pair, particularly in the CH mode of the camera, the images produced are double exposures and black frames, before all ability to take pictures stops, and the camera displays an error message. Single shots are just fine, but anything above...

    New MacBook pro

I love my 2015 15" MBP. With the Retina display and a solid state drive, I don't see any reason to upgrade to a $2,400 machine that has fewer ports and more cost-prohibitive requirements for peripherals. Edited for proper price.

    Macbook Pro screen luminescence.

When I was first attempting to set up my MBP/Retina display with my i1 Profiler, I was told by the good folks at Xrite that my target luminescence should be 100 cd/m. I thought at the time that it looked rather dark, but I accepted it. But now, I ask those here with the same screen/color...

    What was your first camera?

My first camera I used was a Ricoh 35mm autofocus that belonged to my mom. I brought it to many WWF shows when I was a teen. It was very insufficient for the pictures I wanted to get unless I was front row. My very first camera was one of those flat slab-like cameras I got at Walgreen's. It was...

    Cropped photos when printed.

I don't print myself. I send them to Adoramapix. Would this still apply? Edit for added comment: Where in Photoshop would this be in? I've used the cropping tool to crop to the. Would I be going about this correctly? I've heard much about aspect ratios, but I'm afraid I don't understand them...

    Cropped photos when printed.

I have two image templates that I had sized to 4x6, but are slightly cropped after being printed. How can I correct this so that my images retain their complete content? I have PSE 14; Affinity Designer & Photo; NX-D, but I'm assuming one of the first two will be enough.

    Good review of the 7200

Randy, did you not post some football pictures done with the D7200? How did it perform for you in that field(though BIF pics should be sufficiently persuasive, I admit)?

    Nikon Delays D500 Release

    Good review of the 7200

Time resurrect a thread. In contrast to the upcoming D500, I've been thinking about getting a new D7200 + Tamron 150-600mm. My main focus is sports, but I'd like to have a good wildlife lens that delivers good IQ but stays relatively affordable. How do you guys(and gals) think I'll do with...

Can't add drop shadows in PSE 14?

Just picked up Photoshop Elements 14, an upgrade from 8, and while working with the new interface, I couldn't help but notice the lack of drop shadow effects. I found text actions, but nothing about drop shadows. I must be missing this in the learning curve bewteen software editions. Where can...

Still unresolved. Xrite wants me to talk with them over the phone while I try calibrating it. So far, this purchase was a $250 dud.

    Macbook Pro display type?

No matter what I do, I still am receiving the "Device not detected!.." message at the screen where I begin the calibration. This is where it becomes maddening. The device is detected by Apple and iProfiler in every other instance but this. There has to be someone here with an opinion?

    Macbook Pro display type?

Also, the i1 Display Pro dongle comes up as "Device not Detected". I'm running Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and have downloaded updated versions of both i1 Profiler(v. 1.6.3) as well as the XRD(v. 2.4.0). All attempts to get the thing working correctly have failed. I have heard that the dongle...

Issue with my new Nikon 300mm f2.8 VRI

My 70-200 2.8 would, every once in a while, shift a millimeter in the bayonet mount on my D300, causing the shutter to freeze. Maybe that is what may be happening?

    Macbook Pro display type?

I bought a new MBP(Retina) last month and followed it up with an X1 Display Pro, but am hamstrung by the type of display it has. I know it's an LED, but I can't find any useful info on what TYPE of LED it is(Color/White). This has me stumped.

    Fitness ...what else ;)

Just checked this thread out, and it is quite impressive. Out of all the great shots here, the most captivating to me is the one of the blonde woman on Page 3 with the cleverly-placed sheet. Great lighting mixed with just the right amount of definition....fantastic.

    Old Macs Never Die...

I bought a 2009 15.4" refurbished MBP, then spilled a cup of green tea over the keyboard. It initially failed to boot up, and I thought all was lost. Then, after a few weeks went by, I pressed the Power button for kicks and, to my shock, it booted right up. Since then, it continued to be my...

    Calibrating a new Mackbook Pro
