    Commentary as to "Why Fuji"

LOL I TRY to get it in camera but rarely do, John. I am far from not spending time in post. I think it's food for thought though. I know I need to spend more time on technique and less time trying to figure out Adobe software. My pro acquaintance on the other hand, nails it in camera but he's...

    Commentary as to "Why Fuji"

Isn't the point to get it right in the camera? I have an acquaintance who is a national award winning photojournalist who has never shot RAW. His mantra is work on getting it right when you shoot, not spending hours trying to make it right in software after the fact. I don't mean to stir things...

A bit of an illustration of what this scene would convey for someone who is deaf. This would be tranquil with no traffic sound disturbing the scene. It's a lovely capture. I like the steps leading my eye along the water to the building and gorgeous sky at the end.

It's a tough road, isn't it? I've worked for 27 years with people with hearing loss, mostly veterans. I wish I could wave a magic wand and cure it for all who live with it.

Well done with your interpretation of the theme! Visual cues become so very important when the auditory system is compromised. You've illustrated that beautifully. One of my favourite quotes comes from Helen Keller who said "Blindness separates us from things but deafness separates us from people".
