Anyone With A Galaxy S Iii Do The 4.3 Update?

Verizon S3 upgraded two days ago and no problems so far. The only real difference I noticed is I can't get the temperature to show on the lock screen now. Mike

    CS #372 - Gulliver's travels

I kind of miss the rain. We have a few feet of snow on the ground and I can hardly stand on the icy walkways. I do wish you a very merry Christmas and hope your enthusiasm comes back strong!

I hope that gets worked out Robert. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
  26. Mike Savage

    CS #372 - Gulliver's travels

The intention is to shoot anything 1. Larger thank life or 2. Smaller than life, or 3. Having to do with travel. or 4. Something touristy (is that even a word?) If it doesn't fit one of those then it probably doesn't fit the theme but post it anyway!;) I look forward to seeing what you come up...

    CS #372 - Gulliver's travels

I'm glad you asked Sam. It is a baby Cuttlefish which is a type of Cephalopod related to the octopus. I think only 6 of its 8 tentacles are visible in the photo.
  33. Mike Savage

    CS #372 - Gulliver's travels

Well each image only fit one part of the theme to qualify (and the rules are pretty loose this time) I did manage to nail two parts of the theme though. First this guy is only one inch long, so very small, and second I had to travel 1235 miles (according to Google Maps) to Sea Life in Minnesota...
  34. Mike Savage

    CS #372 - Gulliver's travels

Right you are West, great take on the theme!

    CS #372 - Gulliver's travels

Strange seems to be the order of the day so far. Maybe I can convince some "normal" people to participate. I don't think I've had a "normal" day in my life!

Ed, I think the model in your first shot is still suffering from pincushion distortion . . .
  46. Mike Savage

If you were allowed to only shoot with one lens...

Tough question but if it had to be only one lens for a whole year then for me it would have to be the Sigma 150 macro as it is my money maker.
  47. Mike Savage

    CS #371 - Holiday festivities
