The more I play with this, the more I like it. I'm amazed at how noise free the images are. I've just got to sort out a workflow that is faster. There is supposed to be an update that is twice as fast but its taking me forever to download for some reason.

It seems pretty easy to use. You start out by selecting a template (you can save your own) and then fiddle with the controls to season to taste. It seems easier than Photomatix but I just need to sort out a work flow with D800 files.

Thanks everyone. For HDR, I've given up onthe Nik software and I'm now using the latest version of Photomatix. They've tweaked the auto alignment and now it completely rocks. I very rarely need to use a tripod as it can align my hand held shots.

No problem Wail. You are correct. The system functions exactly like CLS except for the line of sight and IR limitations are removed.

The radio poppers are the best thing since sliced bread. They work awesome. After using them, I can't go back to just straight CLS because I'm addicted to putting lights in strange places where line of sight doesn't work. Also, having them "just work" regardless of sun, distance, etc. is just...

I've got a mix of PX and JrX as well and love them. Out of curiosity, do yours suck your batteries very quickly? Mine do...even when powered off between uses. This is the only negative I've see with them so far.

Hmm. Can you be more specific about which pictures you have issues with? The skin processing was the lowest setting in Imagenomics and the ONLY sharpening was done with a brush using pixel genius. I don't see any halos anywhere.

Good guess. That's basically it except there is only one spoon and the fork underneath. I used clear plexiglass with the fork taped underneath and then paper and the spoon on top. A flash below cast the fork shadow on the paper an then the spoon was lit from above with an umbrella.

Love em, love em, love em. My lesson learned - the transmitter eats batteries even while off. Stock up or at least be sure to test before a shoot. Ive started removing the batts while I'm not using them.

Here's a couple from Saturday. I used 2 SB-600's with 1/4 CTO gels in umbrellas camera left and right and an SB-800 with CTB gel for the background. I triggered them with an SU-800 and radio poppers.

I'm in the same boat. I use my speedlights a ton in manual via CLS. There are many times, however, that I need more light. That's where my Adorama Flashpoints come in. In the past, I had the SU-800 on camera for the speedlights and a cheap ebay trigger plugged into the camera sync socket...
