Hi J-P, I shoot 14 bit lossless compressed on my D3, and D300. I used to shoot 14 bit uncompressed. I haven't really noticed any difference in the files, except I get more images on a card, and don't use up so much HD space. :biggrin: Hope you're having FUN with that 700!!!! Alissa

What would you do??? OK... you have a D3 & a D2x (with well over 105,000 hits) as backup. Now seeing that the D2x has pretty high milage, and older technology...does gets used fairly regularly, but not as much as it used to be, before the D3 came along. You are shooting a lot, about 35...
