We just had the bad news that the Eagle's Nest in Rimer, Ohio was blown down from the winds last night. There were 2 Eaglets in the nest at the time that were 3 weeks old. One was found on the ground with maggots eating it up already but the nest was nowhere to be seen. This is a VERY sad day...

These photos were taken by my grandfather. He got up at 6 a.m. to go out and sit in the weeds to get these pictures. After 10:00, his wish came true when the Osprey landed in the tree in front of him and then dove down to grab a fish to have a snack. Please leave comments..I will pass them...

We have looked through out books and can not figure out what type of bird this is. These were taken up in Toledo Ohio at 1:30 in the afternoon. So the sun is directly above the birds so its confusing us. Thanks for all the help!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

The 2nd picture are Tree Swallows but the first one I think is a Bittern?? Maybe...

My parents just got back from Aruba and took some AMAZING photos of some Brown Pelican's. There were about 5-6 of them so I thought I would share them with you.

I had the privilege to see a pair of American White Pelicans in Celina, Ohio. I was very surprised to see that they haven't moved on to Florida or farther down south. One aloud me to get within about 5 feet. I was also lucky to see them on a very sunny day so it was very good lighting...

I love the picture but I think that you want to put her not his. You can tell that she has a necklace around the neck which makes it a female. If someone else disagrees please let me know. We have a couple Osprey around our house and they are females too.
