I agree with Thorsten. I would keep the 24-120, sell the D90 and the NEX (unless it is something you really want to keep) and then pick up the D600 body. The 24-120 would cover the range of the 24-85 anyway and then some.

That's what I will probably do. I'll wait for the early adopters to have buyer's remorse and start selling their D600's or pick up a used D700. I've seen used D800's sell for as low as $2,400 so maybe I can pick up a used D600 for a good price.

I don't see the D600 as a replacement or step-up for D700 owners. I think it is more of an option for those who wants to move to FX for the first time. Btw, if you search for the D600 on Amazon, there is note on the top of the results that announces the D600, stating it is 24.3MP. [NR]
