  1. To shorten the waiting time for the D200, I thought it's time to share some recent shots with my trusty D70!

    Taken handheld with 70-200VR and Canon 500D, at 200mm, 1/400s at f11.

This is morning mist caught in a spiderweb:

  2. Very well executed for a handheld shot.
  3. Very nice!
  4. Nice and sharp! Interesting shot. Well done!!
  5. That's a great perspective. I love the shot.
  6. Very good handheld technique, especially with a 500D.
    Beautiful picture of water pearls!
  7. Well done!

I like this. Handheld I think it is exceptionally sharp. The background color I find a little boring. I will suggest a blue t shirt out of focus, add a maglight to get some more goldish shine in the waterdrops and a very good picture could be even better in my eyes.

Terrific job, especially when one considers the extremely shallow depth of field. The web and drops are excellent, but the backround color is a bit "mute"..

That's a very intriguing shot, very nice....and with that perfectly muted background it would be great for setting a quiet, serene mood.
  10. Nice pattern, almost like a row of beads...

Very pictorial....compliments on your handholding technique!

    Outstanding shot!
  12. Now there is a thought, if the view from each of these lenses can be collated together, it would be a very interesting image indeed!

    Great image as usual Michael!

  13. Great shot.

Beautifull delicate and facinating to look at. Hope the D200 serves you as well as your D70 does!

  16. Wow, Michael, this is fantastic! I love those little "mirror-like" dewdrops.
