105 VR: some flowers & weeds...

  1. I went out this morning in hopes of photographing some birds in flight. There weren't any birds, so I shot some of the interesting plants in that area with the D300 and 105 VR:

  4. I think my favorite is #6, really neat form in plant. I love the bloom in 1 & 3, but seems lacking in sharpness for my taste... Really nice blue...

    My intention with #3 was to soften the image during processing so that it would have a pastel-type glow.

    Glenn,

    These are wonderful........the 105mm VR is a great lens in my view. It provides a nice bokeh.

    I like them all, the detail in #5 is fantastic. This is a(nother) lens I'd love to own....
