  10. Nice shots! Will be driving it in the fall....one of few places in US I haven't been.
  11. Nice!

These are beautiful photographs of a serene slice of America, Fred.

My grandfather, on numerous trips back to Europe in the 1950s, took 35mm slides of Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Spain that I viewed as a tyro.

Alas, those slides were lost in a flood, but I recall the serenity of those projected photos vividly, 5 decades later.

Those memories were sparked by your photos.

How current images link our 'human-hard-drive' to past recollections!

When we visit up north, we take the western (mountain) route home.

Nice set, nice lens. Thanks for sharing. I've never been to that part of the world, but sure would like to have some time to explore with my camera.

The ability to freeze a moment in time can have tremendous emotional impact.
