Cool pictures. A neighbor had one in the late sixties, in Denmark. It was referred to as a Ford Elændia, which translates as a Ford Misery. All I remember was that he always had trouble with getting it started. British Fords were generally considered substandard to the German models.

Thanks for sharing and bringing back a few memories. My father had one of these in a sort of cream colour. Never ever saw one in blue in the UK. By coincidence my Father in law also had one and transported my Mother in law and four kids around in it. It was said the slanting rear window stopped it misting up. I cannot remember if it actually did.

My parents drove one in the sixties. What I remember most about it was that it WOULD NOT START if there was so much as a drizzle.

Thanks for bringing back the memories....

Ford's UK at that time were a nightmare to start but fortunately you never had to worry for too long because they rusted out while you looked at them, when I was a company rep staying in hotels on a regular basis we used to call the fords starting in the mornings 'the dawn chorus'.
