It appears you are correct. I do not find where the color space can be changed of the TIFF or PSD that is exported to the external editor. May not be possible?

Might be a good reason to use referenced files rather than import into Aperture?

Why would they make a RAW developer that you can't change the output space? stupid

The way that I understand color space is that it is something that is "imposed" on the RAW image which has no actual "color space attribute". Given that, exporting an image for external processing with an associated color space makes no sense to me. Once the RAW image is opened by the external editor, THAT program can use any color space it supports. I am no expert and I may be missing something here but this is the way I understand that it works.
