1st Outing with D700 + 85mm F/1.8

  1. Considering that it miss-focuses From F1.8 - 2.5, it a very nice lens. :)

    Would you mind sharing your settings for the water shots? They are truly amazing.
     
  5. Hi Acolo,

    The EXIF is embedded into the file, feel free to download and view it. In reality all I was trying to do is to keep the shutter real fast, aperture as low as possible without compromising to much depth of field and thats it. It was a nice bright day, that helped too ;)

    for whatever reason.... i rarely, if ever use my 85/1.8

    after seeing these great images.... maybe i'm making a mistake
