1st Try at Portraits - Fort Canning, Singapore

Hi All,

Went out on an outdoor portrait session last Saturday at Fort Canning.

This is my and the ladies 1st try at it. Please give me some comments.

I saw your link. Nice portfolio with soft natural lighting.
Next time try some dramatic angular lighting as well.

ALL MY OPINION FOLLOWS, feel free to ignore.

Good first try.
IMO, these all look very soft to me, much more than would look good in a print.
Just to concentrate on the first picture.
The arm going in and out, yet being truncated at the elbow and the wrist seems very awkward and doesn't add to the shot.
The DOF is so shallow that her left eye and nose are in focus but her right eye is way OOF.
The image could use some area sharpening to bring up the texture and remove a little haze.
