  1. a couple of evenings spent in a hunters hide was interesting, and fortunately I came home with a few shots besides the gagging series!

You have my respect those Kingfisher shots are Outstanding and I know how hard they are to come by.

The gagging series alone will have made your nights in the blind worthwhile and these are just icing on the cake!

    Grrrrrr......

After seeing these Ray, I wonder if I shouldn't take the K-F off my list. I'll never top these.

    Super shots.

That K-F is super. I've been trying to get one for a couple of years, but all I get to see is the wrong end!

  9. Superb!!!!!

  10. thanks so much everyone! I agree.. the kf is a tough bird to catch.. that's why i took over 400 shots of this one when it came to visit me for 45 minutes!

Frank and I were discussing these images early this morning. We both decided that these would be hard to duplicate so we just quit. Outstanding images!

  12. Ray it simply doesn't get any better than these. Great KF shots.

  13. thanks guys.. Andy.. never quit! i spent the last 2 summers wishing for a chance like that, and I am sure I would never get a chance without the hide.. just find a regular kf perch, and set up the hide with the light at your back!

I went back to this place 2x since these shots were taken and got skunked.. so it isn't a sure bet.

    take care.

  14. Great shots Ray! The kingfisher is outstanding. I'm very jealous!

    Best,

    Jose
