20 second stitch

  1. Well, after finally getting my new computer rig together, figured I would give it a run for its money. Tried stitching a 5 image panorama together.

Total stitch time took about 20 seconds to complete.

    ISO 100
5 horizontal images stitched in Panorama Factory.

Nice Image very good work. Photgraphy has never ending possabilities.
  3. Thanks...
  4. Very nice Eric. Since Pano Factory has a 64 bit version and it recognizes multiple processors, how much faster than on your old system? 20 seconds seems blazing!

I look forward to seeing more pano's now
  5. Nice work Eric. Less time stitching = more time for photography!

Real nice eric! How much time was the old computer taking with these stiches?
  7. Thankd Douglass... Yep I have the 64bit Panorama Factory and it recognizes multiple processors and runs in a native program in 64bit enviroenment.

Old system took a few minutes to stitch 5 images this one takes 20 seconds...

I did another test using a larger panorama of 9-10 images and the old system took 9 minutes while the new system took only two minutes...

I also batch processed 87 RAW images to 8bit TIF files in less than 10 minutes...
  8. Hey jonathan.... Thanks .. See comment above...
    Thanks david...
