200-400mm VR meets Bluebird

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by Gunnerisac, May 12, 2007.

  1. This pair has to be the most spooky set I've ever seen. Not the best as the sun was behind me making for a very bright yellow bird house background.

Shot from 40 feet away, 100% crop. Male had just brought a worm to egg laying female. I guess it was a bird's Mothers Day!

    Boy, I love this lens!

    Paul:
Interesting shot. Looks like it froze when it saw you and it's plummeting to the earth. Nice work.

  4. Here's our boy bringing some food to his mate (early mother's day breakfast). She finally comes comes out to see the sun.

  6. Thanks, Dave. Although as you can see, the picket fence is falling apart!
