2007 Fall Migration Challenge

As we process out images, let's all select a few of our favorites from each of the places we went or events we attended. This is not a competition. Just select 1 or 2 (please not more than 2) images from each of the venues in the list below and post them (with appropriate remarks and technical data please) in the thread labeled with the same name, i.e., Oyster Challenge Images. Posting them all here might create viewing issues for older slower machines.

Here are the various venues:
1) Oyster
2) VA Eastern Shore National Wildlife Refuge (ESNWR)
3) Kiptopeke State Park
4) Bay Creek and Bay Creek Marina
5) Schooner Serenity Cruise
6) Assateague Island

Mike...what was the name of the place..the one we all stopped on the side of the highway before we entered Assateague Island/Chincoteague??
(the one with bunch of oystercatchers, gulls)

I want to put my gull's "breakfast" catch! :biggrin:

Laura, that was on the causeway between the mainland and Chincoteague. I'm gonna post my favorite oystercatcher shot in the "Assateague" thread-close enough, I guess. :smile:

Ok..that sounds good to me! I tell ya, I loved using your lens, Dave! It was quite a trip for me to see those birds "up close". :biggrin:
