The matches today was great, most especially the finals. Wow! I had a blast. Truly an experience. I would go again in a heartbeat! I hope everyone else here who attended had as much fun as I did.

Instead of posting all the photos here, I decided to just post a few and link the rest. The entire collection can be found here: AVP Crocs Slam McDonalds Chicago Open presented by Nautica

Those are some really small swim suits .

And this is the best "pitcher" shot I have seen here for a while.

Those first three shots are spectacular. Great timing Conrad. You've got some great shots in your gallery as well. btw, there are a bunch of photos that were not captioned correctly. I noticed some were from the semi-finals but were labeled as the finals so the players wer incorrectly identified.

Thanks, you were right about taking tight shots, they do look much better than the wide ones! I have to go back and do a bit more on the captions. The current ones are just placeholders for the entire tournament. I'll go back and update them tonight. Thanks for the heads up!!

some great shots Conrad....that last one could be the the opening shot in SI.

What lens? 70-200?

That girl has got an arm. She whipped that ball to the top row of the stands. All the guys watching dropped their jaws. You could hear the crowd go, "WOAH!" It was great! lol

Yup. I used a 70-200, but I had a TC14 on as well. So it gave me some extra reach. Although, I had to shoot at F4. So the background could have been less distracting without the teleconverter.

OMG, seriously that was great! Besides the fact that there is SERIOUS cheesecake in these shots, the images are awesome!!!!!!!:biggrin:
