I would like to join in the fun. And it will have to be the monthly thread for me, as there are times during the summer when we are on the road that it is impossible to get on every week.

My goals are:

1.To get this new D300 to walk the walk my D80 does
2. Use the off camera lighting more often.
3.And I faithfully promise to try more people photography.(other than family)

Very nice images. #3 is my favorite of the series. Is there a hemi in the Cuda?

Very nice series Pam. Number 3 is also my favorite. The Cuda does take me back a few years. The older cars are nothing like the new ones.

Pam,

The colors of the balloons are really vibrant. And your images have a nice "crispness" to them. You have me wishing this was a 52 week thread. But I'll be good and wait patiently for your next installment.:biggrin:

Pam, great colors! I really like #1 & #4 although the horizon seems a little off (I tend to pull the camera down on the right too..) Cool old Plymouth, BTW

February offerings:
The first two are my favorites from our freak snowstorm. That was kind of fun, the below zero weather that followed made a mess out of New Mexico. There were places accross the state including in Alamogordo that didn't have natural gas for days. :frown: Made me glad to look at that propane tank outside the back door.

# 3 is a Sundog, I have taken others which didn't work real well but this time not so bad. I think I am liking this D300:biggrin:
#4 Roses from the big guy
# 5 is a piece of Delft handled copper coal bucket.

Very nice series Pam. The snow does not look inviting for your area. That can really make a mess of things. Interesting sun dog image. I have never heard of them before.

Pam,

That is definitely a lot more snow than I would think you'd get. I'm curious as to why it's called a 'Sundog'. Does it know how to fetch shade during the summer? :m23: :biggrin:
