A few technical flaws. I should have increased the shutter speed, as I wasn't panning and the cars are moving fast.

I had a hard time deciding from the other shots I took Saturday. This was the close second (I just happened to like the close up of the one chosen for day 12):

Oh, so nice - and I know the situation exactly: D750, 50/1.4, and no matter how hard you fight, the background IS cluttered most of the time

Wade, Paul and Andy: these are great shots. having kids to to shoot must be fun. Wade, the bridge looks better in B&W, though the "close up" is amazing in color too.

Wine tasting. One of our son contemplating his wine. Our second stop of the day (Cowhorn Vineyards) and we had a great spot, out on the patio with a view to die for.

Zinfandel grapes still on the vine, protected by nets. Will be harvested in a couple of weeks. (Troon Vineyards)

Nice shot of your son and looks like a memorable moment. I like the closeup of the grapes - well composed.

Lamp in hotel room on day 13, playing around with Snapseed app on the iPad. ...

I LOVE Snapseed! I mean, I'm good at photoshop and all, but the only app I really use for all my mobile pics is Snapseed - it's got just the right combination of pre-set simplicity and open-ended editability.
