Yes, the orange is very realistic. It makes the shot!

It's certainly worth getting out of bed for this kind of result. The sharpness in the tree is wonderful.
Nice study of the tree's bark. And of the lens' behaviour in that type of light, on the left. My eye keeps wandering aroung, looking at both halves of it, alternately.
Very nicely done. I agree with David on the sharpness.
Yeah, Ponderosa pine is so photogenic--nicely done. Again, great use of focus/OOF.
Great contrast between sharpness and bokeh, highlights and shadow. Beautifully composed and exposed.
Great natural nature shot, and the lines are echoed fore and back ground. Love the texture and contrast in light vs dark!

Day 6 - Like others said, you caught great light and it is a very photogenic site. Don't fret.
Day 7 - Very nicely judged DOF on this shot. And pumpkin orange perfectly captured.
Day 9 - Sunrise in the forest very unusual and successful shot. The sharp bark and pine needles are so "natural" and the background bokeh so abstract that they just compel one to study and enjoy the photo.

Fall weather, but looks warm in sunlight, not cold. Great color and mood. But where is the 3 feet of snow you folks were supposed to have? Or was that North Dakota?
