This lens carries the "S" designation and was intended for use only on a mirrorless camera, but it was manufactured before the introduction of the F-Mount.

I played with it casually for a week after purchasing it more than a year ago but never got around to do much more with it. So for the next 31 days, I shall experiment, put it through its paces, and share the results.

Nice leading lines and dynamic range! Gotta love old glass.
Great perspective.
Really great start to the Oktoberfest! Looking forward to seeing more of this lens.
Nice! It will be fun watching what you can do with this. :)
Good start! Great lines.
It will be fun to see what you do this month!!
The old lens did a great job!
Fascinating! Love to see the construction technique.
Thanks, everyone!

Does it mount directly on your camera, or is some form of adapter used?
Since the lens was designed for old Nikon rangefinders, it only requires a very slim adapter to use on a Z 6 or Z 7. Even with the SmallRig bracket on the body and the step-down ring threaded onto the lens it is a very compact walkaround combo.

I agree with Gordo and Phil, who agree with Nick! :) Love the lines, the wetness, and composition.

Again, perspective is amazing. The conversion is too—getting the wet to look wet . . .with all that grey around is challenging.
Excellent image Andy. Nick said it all.
Agree with Nick, and it's moody - I like it.

Really nailed that deck image. Well done. Looks like a great call on the BW conversion due to sky.
Thanks, everyone!
