The roses are beautiful!! I love the color. The milkweed on our ditch was mown down by the ditch rider. Hopefully some of the seeds were spread before they were cut down!!

I like that first shot as well - love the detail.
Thanks. Trying to get the seed hairs parallel to the camera was an exercise in frustration. But I persisted the best I could, avoiding the temptation to cover it up with a small f/. Looking at it now, guess I could have done a better job cropping it.

I was heading out for a quick shoot of some "new normal" stuff for the Collective Shoot, when these caught my attention on the edge of our yard. Strong noon light is my new favorite!

1. "Abstract" in red and green, with some help from a shadow and a stump.
