Well done Gordon. I never get a decent image when I do things like that.

Thanks Ron. Most of the shadow selfies I've tried over the years have been really bad. Funny how the mistake works better.

It’s surprising how many times, unexpected shots come out great, or we end up with unexpected elements in the shot that we didn’t plan for, but they really enhance the image. Good submission!

Thanks Paul, and it is nice to get a pleasant surprise now and again.

Day 10

Rut Roh! Color. Couldn't get any B&W or any other photos I liked today, and this was one of about 60 attempts. Most of which were with the wrong camera. Having one of those days. Color may be a thing off and on for the rest of the month, but still I think mostly B&W.

This is the Classic Chrome film sim with some adjustments in RFC (Raw File Converter), cropped and resized.

Just some stuff I find useful on a regular basis. AAA flashlight gets carried every time I grab my keys, pocket knife usually gets grabbed at the same time otherwise used to open mail, etc... Pen gets pulled out when I need it - much less these days with so much stuff being done online.

Beautiful gear. And very nice tone.

Those are classic essentials - Nice lighting and sharp. Not just the knife!

A nice set of pocket essentials and well shot!

Great gear, Gordon. Color coordinated and well-photographed also. What brand of pen is that, BTW?

Well done on the shot Gordo! Your hard work paid off.

The colors and tones match so well.

Very tasteful as well as useful and nicely photographed.

Excellent gear very well photographed.

Kind regards
Klaus

Very nice images all round, especially the reverse selfie!

Wonderful pocket carry, my compliments on the image.

Thank you all, very much.

Eric - the pen is a Rick Hinderer, Investigator model. Machined brass, bead blasted, takes the full-size Fisher Space Pen refills. The machined grip grooves were still a little smooth for me, added a set of o-rings for more grippy.

First off, been a bit busy with phone calls yesterday and today, plus errands today. Will be catching up on everyone's threads as soon as I can.

Hopefully, I have something a little different tomorrow and maybe another day or two this week. Hopefully next week I can roam wider. Knees have been doing better, so walking more. Still need to be careful, but I need to get up and running (LOL) for an airshow Nov 6.

Day 11

I'm back in black (and white). Instead of another standard boring Huachuca shot, I tried for a natural framing boring Huachuca shot.
