Color, and a different crop, and 2019 iPad Octoberfest photo that inspired this 500mm attempt.

A couple of updates ... the "main" upstairs full bath is essentially done. We have an IKEA cabinet that goes to the right of the vanity, but I don't have much space to put it together right now!!

The kitchen is seeing all of the action right now. And a mess, it is!!

Perhaps somewhat off-topic, but I apparently did not keep my copy of the Nikkor Z 85/1.8 long enough to evaluate it properly. I saw that it was ever so slightly sharper than its F-mount predecessor but concluded that was not enough to warrant keeping it. From your photos and others, I am seeing that it renders OOF areas better than the 1.8G wide open, and even more so when stopped down.
Maybe the differences aren't worth the money, though.

They have two horses in the corral. Not sure what they use them for.

Sorry got sidetracked, had to move a trailer, and other chores mid morning. The item imaged in my shot is the copper flat plate diffusers we use on our stove when using a griddle, keeps hotspots away, and using two on two burners heats entire flat surface of our griddle evenly. Today, one is being used to hold our rice steamer, another use for these 11” squares by 1/8“ thick. The patterns are caused by the flames hitting and heating up the diffusers.

Alternative for day 24 with more movement in the water so the reflection a nice blurred effect.

Day 24 - later in the day ...

It's been rainy & windy today, and not long after I uploaded today's picture of the construction progress, the sun popped out for a few minutes. No time to go anywhere scenic, so I settled for my front porch!!

I hate this time of the year ... because each one of those dang leaves in my yard and driveway will need to be picked up!!

Cheers!!
