DAY 11

Had to hang out at home for signature-required packages from FedEx and UPS. Then a Zoom session with our daughter in Boise, so house bound against my will—again!
Walnut leaves on the back yard catching yellow light reflected off the canopy. View attachment 1690947
The leaves look so nice. Did you get snow to cover them all up?

DAY 12

I'd planed to take my Z7 out with me this afternoon, but I forgot, so here is dinner prep—smoked steelhead and smoked sockeye (all smoked in Coeur d"Alene), goat cheese and shallots and tomato and pasta.

Nick, how long does it took...?

How do arranged all the leaves in that perfect manner?

Kind regards

Day 7 - quite a collection.
Day 8 - Lovely candlelight portrait, Glad you kept the warm balance.
Day 9 - Nice contrast and tones, like the low viepoint
Day 10 - Love the rolling hills but don't think I've ever seen them so bare and recently plowed
Day 11 - A nice fall tapestry
Day 12 - Nice start to what lookslike will be a delicious dinner.

I place one leaf, then I run up to the 2nd floor window to check it out, and then back down, place another leaf and so on and on and on! I do this until the wine is all gone and then take the picture:D

Luckily all I had to do was look, focus and shoot!

Slice the shallot and brown lightly in olive oil. Add a cup or so of tomato sauce, salt, pepper to taste. Add cooked pasta (I used a cup + of Strozzapreti) add chopped or flaked salmon, goat cheese and enjoy! 15 minutes.
We didn't do wine, since we'd down at the wine bar since 3! But a sauv blanc, Semillon or viognier, would do. I'd prefer an Alsatian Pinot Gris or a Spanish white.
