2015 was the last time I participated in this ordeal ?
I'm not under the influence but I have decided to sign up for this year in memory of Chris who intrigued me with his enormous range of creative contributions and scary avatar.
I will go player with 2 x Z5, Z 20mm 1.8 and Z 105 2.8 Macro.
Batteries charged and jump leads are at the ready for the user.
Nope not rude at all. I changed my avatar over the weekend on the phone and made a pigs ear of it and somehow ended up pasting an Irish word over my username in the process. I can change it back on the 27-Oct.Hi! I hope this doesn't sound rude, but I don't recognize your user name even though it looks as though you've been around a while. Did you previously post under a different name which might be familiar to some of us old-timers?
Anyway, welcome to this year's Octoberfest!
I must be sick then, this will be my 6th since July 2019.2015 was the last time I participated in this ordeal ?

I messed up a few other things also with regards to my profile. I’ll have access to a proper computer tomorrow to fix it.

In these cases (feeling that someone had been here before, known by different nick), you can click on a username. Next to it, there is a little circular arrow icon (aka recycling... ?). Click it, and the cafe tells you...I don't recognize your user name even though it looks as though you've been around a while
Amazing the little secrets in software, lol.In these cases (feeling that someone had been here before, known by different nick), you can click on a username. Next to it, there is a little circular arrow icon (aka recycling... ?). Click it, and the cafe tells you...

Now THAT's interesting! Never knew that before!
Actually, are users allowed to change their own user name on Nikon Cafe? Usually that is frowned upon by administrators, for very good reasons.....
