28th June wedding - covering for another photographer

An unusual one this. Another photographer I know had to pull out at the last minute for personal reasons and I covered for him. I met the couple very briefly a couple of days before (for about 15 minutes), but arrived at both venues competely cold and with no idea what to expect. Not the best vicar as there was a complete ban on any photography during the ceremony. His church but I really think it's harsh on the couple to do that. Anyway, the images:

Did you shoot the entire wedding in auto ISO? What made you choose to shoot in aperture vs manual. Are any of your photos shot with a flash? By the way, your pictures look wonderful!

You did an amazing job. I'm sure your nerves were shot, but I think the outcome is great.

The ONLY thing I would change is to touch up the blemishes on the brides forehead. Every single one of my brides have been broken out at their wedding and said they never had a problem with it before, so they obviously weren't happy about it. Chances are, they don't want to be reminded of it in the photos.

No, I don't use Auto ISO for weddings as I prefer to control things. I almost always use AP and switch to manual for indoor flash. The latter dance shots are flash. Everything else available light.

Thanks. Nerves weren't too bad as I've done enough to be able to get by in most situations now. There will be some retouching done before the album stage.

Fantastic job, what a beautiful site for a wedding.

I am absolutely enamored by the one shot where she is kissing the elderly gentleman. It has such wonderful color and composition, again the house as the bg. It holds a ton feeling.

I hope I do half as well in my endeavors some day. How fortunate that you had the opportunity to capture that wedding.
