Peek a Boo
And a little stress on a face
The only thing missing from the pole vault series is the 'clearing the bar' shot and the landing. Nice shots.
That pole vault stuff looks like a blast to shoot, I have to give that a try if it ever stops raining here. Your son looks as though he is pushing his body on a day that it says, "NO!".
Great shots on the pole vault. I didn't go to our track meet today.
rain,rain,rain..and then some more..rain.:frown:
Yea-- I tried on a couple shots but they were not up to what I would like to
post ( qualitywise )
They pole vault and long / triple jump are a blast to shoot...You can get some
great shots and cool faces. Yea Frank he was struggling on the back stretch of th
final lap....He won the race...1st race he a won...Not a great time but a 1st place
all the same.
Hope you weather cleas Jeff....Thanks for the kind words.
Great!! I'm trying to learn how to shoot soccer, made an absolute fool out of myself today attempting to shoot a baseball game, and now these excellent shots at a track meet from you have got my interest up to try that!! izzy: izzy:
Love the sequence, and you have a very handsome son there. Congratulations goes out to him.
Thank you Jim....I am starting to enjoy shooting track more and more.
A couple more...The first one I wasn't sure how to crop but ended up with this
Wasn't happy with any of my "mid air" shots - this one I cut off a foot..
These are great. Between you and Jeff you guys have me tempted to find some track and field meets and get out there. Nice shooting!
Nice action in these Rod , tough to catch I would imagine
I think you did a good job with these. Certainly better than mine. Pole vaulting is one of the toughest events to photograph, IMO. In my case, if I catch the runner before, there's usually somebody walking behind. If I catch the vaulter going over the bar, there's a building or something in the background.
I'm only saying you got some very nice shots, and I can appreciate the fact that it is not an easy thing.
Very nice I think tracj woudl be fun to shoot with all types of options for angles and such
I am not a big track fan but must admit it is fun to shoot.
Thanks Mark...Ya you have to be on your toes...I still have not gotten the
"shot" of my son...I'll know it when I see it though
Yep- there sure are a lot of kids walking / running around all the time.
It is tough to get a clean view for sure. Thanks Jeff
Thanks Mike. Fun for sure...Meets are looong but fun -if the weather is right.
