300 f4 test

    No idea what bird this is, but it was the only thing I saw to shoot today. First chance to see what a 300mm f4 can do handheld.

    Not sure either what that bird is, but the 300 f4 is very comfortable handheld. I also like it with the TC14 handheld. Nice first shot with the lens.

    Good first shot. Harris (Backdoctor) has posted many photos using his 300/4 handheld. He is shooting this way with great success. Very good lens.

    Good capture. I also have that lens and I love it. By the way, I do not know the type of bird in your image, but it may be a cousin of Grover. Has the same neck and face features.
