  2. The reviews are not great.
    I don't own this specific model but use one from another brand (same technology).
    I find it is OK-ish for quick scans that I want to post on social media or share rapidly.
    Quality is always a let down and colours from slides are horrendous.
    Dust gets inside it as well.
    Quite often the negatives are bent and the image distorted.
    I get much better results from my flatbed scanner or from the lab.
     
  3. I think the answer would depend on whether this is just for a one-time job and if so how many slides are involved.
