A number of towns/cities here have cancelled/postponed their displays due to flooding. Only a few will have theirs go off as planned. Alot of the areas these places shoot from and have spectators at is underwater. even if the waters recede, which they are right now, the ground will still be way too soft and muddy by the 4th. Local ones are postponed until Sept 1. At least it will be cooler out at night than it usually is in July.

Anyone else's area in the same boat?

Haven't heard of any cancelations on this side of the state. If the rain holds off for tomorrow will go to Milwaukee's July 3rd bash and give the ole camera a try.

No boat needed here. Plenty of rain but no flooding yet.
As always, Pittsburgh has plenty of fireworks. We saw them Saturday night and will watch them again July 3 and July 4.
We also have fireworks scheduled July 13, August 3 & 31, Sept. 14 & 21
PyroFest, the largest fireworks festival in the U.S. was held May 25.

Pittsburgh is home to two of the largest fireworks companies in the country, Zambelli and Pyrotecnico. They're always trying to outdo each other in their hometown.
