Thanks everyone! I was joking with the grandmother (who was close to me) that the mother might be upset now, but these will be the ones she buys. As I was snapping these, the mother was in full sprint toward her. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

5 second rule? I thought it was 10 seconds.
If a series of 3 photos could be called a triptych, would this be a quadtych?
Regardless, this is great.

Dave,

What lens/settings were used? I really like the DOF on these.

I actually don't have a time limit for myself. My theory is that if I see it drop, it's fair game........no matter how long it sits there.

Adorable. I could see that on a Pediatric Wall. lol

Our house it is 7 seconds.. but not everywhere. lol We were at the park today, LOTSA chickens run free. There, if it hit the ground it was gone. lol But most the time, I go with the "God made the dirt, dirt won't hurt" rule. lol

Ok as a mom...I would've cringed (sp) if my child did this. I was such a germ-a-phobic mother when my child was this age. I constantly carried "baby wipes" in my purse. This would be a great commercial print.

This is such a great series...of course the old adage is "What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger".

BTW: I am so over being a germ-a-phob.
