Thanks Karen. I agree a very pretty bird. I love it when the male displays during courtship. Hoping to see this display as they continue to visit our crab apple trees.

Thanks Randy. I agree. Love this lens it gives me reach comfortably without the need for lugging a tripod around.it separates the subject from the background nicely giving me a nice image that requires very little processing

what others have said, the camo effect on this bird is crazy, the DOF really keeps the separation on subject.
