cross posted over at the D200 forum, but thought I would add fuel to everyone's fire. :)

Nikon d200 ISO 1250, first two with my 50mm 1.4 lens, f2.2, 1/50, ISO 1250, spot metering, reduced size and sharpened for web, no other processing, no out of camera noise reduction, taken as a JPG Fine Large, optimal, WB tungsten,

Third image (daughter) taken with 85mm 1.4 lens, f2.0 1/60th second, ISO 1250, same as above.

I am very very happy with the noise levels in the D200 if I expose correctly. If I underexpose a bit, you start to see it, but it still isn't bad.

First two of my brother-in-law, last one is my daughter,

  2. Beautiful work on both the DOF and the exposure on all 3 of these. Pretty highlights in the background of the 3rd one. That camera and either of those lenses are killer combos.
