Does having the image stabilization turned on slow the autofocus when focusing on a moving target?

    Greg,

The autofocus isn't slowed by VR. But you have to activate VR by either depressing the shutter release half way or by using the AF button, depending upon how you have your custom settings set, a few seconds before you expect to take the shot. VR needs a few seconds to stabilize before it is effective. VR with moving targets requires a different shooting style than non-VR.
