70-200 vr

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by gmaker1, Apr 3, 2007.

  1. Just purchased the above lens. It will arrive Thursday. Sold my 85 and 180 for it, but I think it will be a good trade off.

  2. Yup! You'll love it - we look forward to the shots, Gil.

It's an outstanding lens, particularly for sports photography. When it's your turn at the plate, you can also use it as a bat.

We're probably all a bit crazy (not necessarily in a bad way).

I just sold my 70-200vr and plan to replace it with an 85/1.4 and a 180/2.8.

  8. You will love it!! I don't know if I'd give up my 85 1.4 for it, but you're going to love the 70-200 VR. It is by far my favorite lens at the moment, with the 85 1.4 and the Beast coming in at 2nd in 3rd in no particular order...

    Yup, the 70-200VR rocks.

  10. I never thought I'd say that but I might do the same thing soon.

After shooting some curling in a cave, I am really looking for one of those babies. The problem is, I can't sell the 85 and the 180 before I get the 70-200 because I have events planned almost every week-ends... And these as so small and light compared to the 70-200.

I wondered how much I would get for a kidney...
