70-300VR and neighbour rabbit

    The more I use this lens the more I'm likin' it! Compact, great FL range, and handholds so nicely. Image quality is high enough to keep me happy. What a great amateur lens!

    This is one of several cottontail that live in a field adjacent to my property. They've become quite used to the strange human who crawls about their warren with a funny machine in his hands.

    Taken with a D80 using VR, about one hour before sundown.

  3. Cute, I really love this lens too. It is a lot of lens for a good price, I just wish it had a tripod mount as it is a lot to hang off the camera on the tripod.
