7th Grade FH

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by Aqualung, Sep 26, 2008.

  1. This week my youngest daughter was moved up to play on the middle school team, after they lost their first two games 10-1 and 6-1. Yesterday was her first game, and I grabbed a few shots.

She's following in her big sister's footsteps, looks like I have many more years of FH shooting

    D300 & Siggy 120-300...Oh, they played to a 1-1 tie...much improved.

    1. Light blue goggles is mine.

wunderful! I have the same thing with my boys being 4 years apart and my girls being 4 year apart.

My older boy gets his first start on varsity fball this weekend, and I'm missing my younger boys game to take pics. (I'm a coach on the younger boys team :-( )

These are very nice shots, maybe your best light in a while!!!! 1,2 & 8 for me...
  5. thanks Mark, the light was sweet, starting to cloud up and in the shadow of a hill.

    cheers, Sal

Thanks Tim, oh boy, there's a major conflict, don't envy you there!

Chris these look great. Colors and sharpness are amazing.
  8. Thanks Mike, really appreciate that. Def #1 is going to be 8x10...

    Thanks Ron!
  9. Yup that is good shooting, I would have that No. 1 shot printed 11x14 and hung on the family wall of fame. Super low perspective are you sitting on a chair or the grass?
  10. Thanks Brooks, hmmm, I may wait for a 16x20 sale

I am usually on my knees or butt. If there's a lot of curvature to the field, I am on my knees w/ my camera eye level (20-24"?), if it's flat then I usually sit on my butt. I rarely stand. But, I'm also considering getting one of those low camp stools as it gets colder.
