85/2.0 AIS vs. 85/4 AF-D

  1. Any comments. My use will be portraits and candids (typically outdoors). Perhaps also as a walk around on my D70. Thanks!!!!
  2. 85/2 is smaller, uses 52mm filters IIRC, and has more interesting boke-aji. The 85/1.4 is more optically "ideal" and of course is a stop faster.

    The price difference and forum bias leans toward the 85/1.4D :)  I'd take the 85/1.4 AIS first though.
