  1. I have been lusting for an 85 for some time now, and originally I was going to try and get a 1.4 however I couldn't convince myself I needed it badly enough to drop the $800 or so dollars required, so I opted for the cheaper 1.8 which I found on ebay for $299 CAN, a mint copy. Hope to have some shots to share soon.

  5. Ok so I got my lens, got some subjects and my strobe setup, here are the results. Viewer beware they are pretty amateurish but they are my first attempt.

    My boys and our dog. I realize they could do with some more PP as some are a tad blueish etc.
