8fps on a D2X?

Discussion in 'Nikon DX DSLR Forum' started by Czechman01, Jun 14, 2007.

  1. Okay, other than switching to HSC and getting the shutter speed up what other settings do you have to adjust to get the X to shoot 8 fps?
  2. Go into the menu and set your frame rate there Woody
  3. It is under custom setting menu d. shooting/display.

I know on some other camera's you have to turn off NR and other things to get the camera up to the full FPS. not sure about the D2 series.

I'm confused  ....can a D2X shoot at 8FPS at 12MP ? I had the impression that 8FPS was only for HSC mode.
  6. It does 5fps at full image size (12.4mp) and 8fps in HSC (6.8mp). I got those numbers directly from Nikon's site.

  7. Ah, that was the one I missed!
