In the Technorati current list of 'the one hundred most popular sites' there is Mashable.com, which calls itself a news service for social network sites (such as facebook, myspace and the many others that are popping up now). In fact it reviews far more than social networking sites, including for example, visitor analysis and site ranking software.

Mashable is a social network itself as well as being a news resource, but one of the best features of the site is the 'news' section. In fact the team at mashable must have their eyelids propped open with matchsticks because somehow or other they find sites and services that must take hours of work to find let alone write about.

In the link below, Mashable has a very detailed and useful round-up entitled "90+ Online Photography Tools and Resources".

The 'Resources' include a variety of on-line photo editors, photo sharing sites, free photo hosting sites, photo printing, photo search and photo mixing and slideshow sites sites.

While many will have their own photo-editing software, not everyone has, and there may also be times when one is far from home with a camera but without one's own computer.

Definitely worth browsing to see what is out there.
