I am testing out some things I have learned on this forum:biggrin: This is my first extreme closeup using a 105 macro and all 3 extension tubes. This shot isn't cropped at all. thanks for looking.

Very nice. That's some "fur" coat he has on.
  5. Nice, you ought to crop out the face, that would be impressive.
  6. Yikes! what was the lens to bee distance?

I like the lighting on this, but the image could be just a bit brighter, IMHO...or it could be this monitor.... it's not calibrated.

spalding12: thanks it is scary, but interesting.

    rotxlk82: thanks

ArtO: thanks, the fur is impressive, I would look at it and a bull would come to mind getting ready to charge.

TomP: Thanks, your right about cropping down to the face, I will try it.

threecats: I am not sure the distance to the bee as I was hand holding, it was close 3 inches?

Spectre: thanks, I will look at it again on the other computer, I was exhausted when this was taken and posted. Just got off nightshift, so it could be off.

    thanks for the comments

Now, looking at it at home on a calibrated monitor, it isn't as dark as on my work monitor. I work a night shift as well so I know what you mean.
