  1. To be honest, I like both, the photo is really nice but what you've done with it is exceptional. (y)
Man, you must spend hours on the box doing these... :D

    Hi Wally,

Agreed....I loved the photo when I saw it...very reminiscent of a great photographer Fred James.

I have a set work pattern now so whilst still very time consuming, not as bad as at the beginning....but still time consuming and fun.

    Best wishes as always

    Ray

  3. You have cleaned up the background very well on this shot. The flowers would be better if you hadn’t toned them down so much. Beautiful image.

    Hi Gordon,

I thought I might have overcooked the flowers a little in the smudge process. In the original they were very bland and no colour and I have tried to make the pop a bit.....

    Hmmm.....stunningly beautiful bridge and image.

The smudge treatment for the veil, face, hair and dress is excellent! For me, though, there are three areas that have too much "pop". Her lips, the bouquet and that background. The background, IMHO, demands way too much of the viewer's attention because it is so colorful, contrasty and busy. Also, the background is not smoothly transitioned along the edges of the veil.

    That is really great work.
(My only doubt is about the lips.)
