Picked up a Sigma 30mm 1.4 last Wed, sold my 18-200 on Friday then the Sigma 10-20 on Sunday and less than an hour ago I picked up a virtually brand new 70-200. Gotta love Craigs List for this stuff.

Man this lens is big, big for what I am used too. Gonna have to start bench lifting my gear to build up the strength to carry this thing around.

    I have the 17-55, 70-200, 30mm 1.4, 50mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8. Oh yeah and the 18-55 for the wife and the D40.

My lens lust is satisfied for the moment, though I may consider selling the 50&85 f/1.8 for just the 85 f/1.4.

It's been a fun and expensive 13 1/2 months of SLR life...

    timkoo - NAS is fun....lol

jac0224 - My lust is controlled by a higher power....my wife!

    130meow - I'll be looking for a D3 in the fall.
  6. i had a bad (or good depending on your preferences) of NAS in the past 45 days. bought the D3, 24-70, 70-200, F2AS (wanted to have a good manual again) and now i am looking at getting the 35mm f1.4 AIS and the 20mm f2.8 AF-D...

it never ends... the lust, the desire...

Guys, lens lust will start big way for me if this is true!
  8. Wow, if this is true, looks like I'll have to get my hands on a 50 /1.4 AF-S and a 24mm /1.4 AF-S as well. Hopefully they won't cost too much...

Can I ask what made you sell your 28-75 for the 17-50? I'm kind of in this situation right now and I'm looking for a good walk around lens.
