Took a little trip out to Lake Eola park in downtown for a couple night shots. I'm pretty pleased with the results, as its my first attempt at night photography...

Nice shots. I'd never guess they were your first night shots. Good work!!!
  11. You did very well! These are very beautiful shots with excellent exposure.
Seems to me those kit lenses are doing very well also.

  12. Nice shots.

Did you attend the fireworks display on the 4th of July? I was staying a few blocks from Lake Eola on the 4th. I was going to the Nascar race in Daytona on the 5th and downtown Orlando still had normal prices for hotels. Once you got out of Orlando the prices were crazy. I didnt get any good firework shots though. Didnt have my tripod with me..

I been in downtown Orlando a few times now and still didnt get to Colonial Photo & Hobby. I actually drove past it when I was there in July but they were closed.

I didn't go to the fireworks downtown. Maybe I'll go next year, I'm just not a huge fan of crowds.

I keep meaning to go buy colonial photo and hobby, but it seems as though they're closed whenever I think of it. We're in the same boat there...

Glad to see I inspired you
  15. Beautiful shots Ian....
